Carly Jackson, PA-C
Carly Jackson is a certified physician assistant at MCMC Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery.
Carly loves getting to know her patients and helping them reach their goals. She believes the essence of a therapeutic relationship is physical and mental recovery. Carly emphasizes the importance of regaining mental strength and a positive mindset as patients work through pain, an injury, or surgical recovery.
She’s always had an interest in both orthopedics and maintaining an active life. Dealing with her own injuries in many different sports has given her both an understanding and empathy for what patients go through in their medical care. She believes in an individualized approach to patient care and treatment that is tailored to patient goals. She continues to stay active in the community by providing sporting event coverage at local high schools.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois and completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Prior to joining MCMC, she worked as an orthopedic PA focusing on sports medicine in Rockford, IL. She also provided sporting event coverage to local area high schools and Division III Rockford University. In addition, she continues to train medical providers on musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections.
Carly is excited to live in the Gorge and take advantage of the endless outdoor recreational opportunities. In her freetime, she enjoys being outside by skiing, hiking, and mountain biking. She also enjoys live music and wine tasting.
