We are proud to give back to our community by sponsoring and supporting a wide range of local events and activities, including working with local schools to provide an array of services to youth athletes.

Youth Sports Program

MCMC athletic trainers attend school games and practices, offering injury prevention education and safe return-to-play following an injury. In addition, through our Summer Strength Camps, our staff works with high school athletes in the off-season, helping with strength and conditioning, speed and agility training, and injury and dehydration prevention.

Summer Camp

Summer Strength Camps

Mid-Columbia Medical Center offers free summer strength & conditioning camps for local youth athletes. These five-week camps are designed to enhance athletic performance, reduce the risk of common athletic injuries, and prep athletes for the upcoming sports season.

Sports Physicals

Sports Physicals

Student athletes are encouraged to see their PCP for well child exams to obtain their sports physicals. Please contact Nicholas Dills, DPT, and/or John Barresse, ATC, for more information.


Concussion Center

Children and teens are among those at greatest risk for concussion. Our certified athletic trainers have teamed with MCMC doctors, physician assistants, physical therapists, and emergency medicine providers to develop comprehensive concussion management programs.
